Short Bio
Born and raised in Cyprus. Since 1996 she lives and works in different cities worldwide.
Her work has been exhibited in Europe since 2007, including the artist’s recent solo exhibitions including Efi’s recent solo exhibition “METAMORPHOSES” at the Greek pavilion, EXPO 2020 Dubai, in the framework of the event “A Universal Narrative of Light’ From Apollo’s birthplace, Delos, to a brighter future”, organized by the Office of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Dubai March 2022, “Black Gold Flakes”, Leventis Gallery, Cyprus June-Sept. 2021, “My Finest Fabulous and Amazing Math Book”, Greenwich University for London Festival of Architecture, UK June 2021, “My Finest Fabulous Math Book”, Athens, June 2020, “The onslaught of dogs” , Diatopos, Cyprus Jan. 2017. She collaborated with Italian artist Stefania Galegati in the short film performance “La Fila Lunga” , BAM-Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo, Palermo, Italy Sept. 2022.
Efi has recently been awarded for her artwork with the “PPC MEETS ART” Award, 2022 and the “175th Anniversary of National Bank of Greece” Award, by the National Bank of Greece, 2017.
She has a long experience in Fashion Industry as a model, presenter, and public figure (Christian Dior, Versace, Moschino, Kenzo, and magazines POP, Madame Figaro, Bazaar, NOMAS UK, US, GR, CY). She was involved in Campaigns of public interest as a Goodwill Ambassador with recent “European Charter of Fundamental Rights” 2021 (“Variety and Healthy Life”- Campaign Against Eating Disorders Lanitis, “Fashion Targets Breast Cancer”, Against Women Trafficking, UNHCR-the UN refugee Agency) in Europe and US.
She is the creator of “RUNONART” initiative, committed to empowering contemporary art, reactivating interdisciplinary synergies and helping local art communities to outreach international audiences through innovative mediums.
